About Us

S. Joon was founded on the philosophy of buy well and buy less. The brand is built on the foundations of quality and craftsmanship, using the highest quality Italian leather and constructed by skilled artisans in Italy.

Inspired by a love of vintage handbags, the designs combine sculptural shapes with contemporary details to create classic, yet distinctive pieces.

Established in 2017 by former choreographer and dance teacher Sahar Asvandi. Her love of dance continues to guide her design approach and influences: shapes, the human body and movement.

Behind The Name

S. Joon’s name blends founder Sahar Asvandi’s initial and a Persian term of endearment meaning ‘dear.’

S. Joon combines the first initial of founder and creative director Sahar Asvandi and joon the Persian term of endearment used at the end of a name, meaning ‘dear.’
